About the event

Everything’s bigger in Texas – including our passion for wine! In this introductory class, we’ll take a deep dive into the exciting and rapidly growing world of the fifth-largest wine producing state in the country.

We will taste a curated selection of some of the top wines made in Texas that showcase the diversity and quality of Texas’ terroir – from Viognier to Vermentino and Tempranillo to Tannat.

Along the way, we’ll explore the history of Texas winemaking, the unique challenges and opportunities facing the Texas wine industry, the key varieties that thrive here and exciting new developments that are shaping the future for Texas wine.

Whether you’re a long-time Texas wine lover or brand new to the local scene, this class will give you the knowledge (and the sips) to fully appreciate what makes Texas a rising star in the wine world.
