Join us at Somm Space for an extraordinary deep dive into Viognier, presented by Uncorked Vintage Academia. This immersive tasting explores the remarkable versatility of one of the wine world's most captivating grape varieties, from vibrant sparkling wines and bone-dry expressions to richly textured late-harvest bottlings.
The centerpiece of the evening is a rare and educational vertical tasting of Viognier from Horton Vineyards, one of the pioneering producers responsible for establishing Viognier's reputation in the United States. Guests will have the opportunity to taste wines spanning multiple decades—from the 1990s through the 2010s—offering a fascinating look at the ageability and evolution of this iconic grape. These ex-cellar bottles have been sourced directly from Horton Vineyards specifically to support this educational experience.
